FAQs

  • You must be at least 18 years old with a valid, government-issued photo ID. We do not tattoo minors, even with parental consent.

  • You’re welcome to bring a friend for support, but please limit it to one guest. Space in the studio is limited, and we want to maintain a calm, focused environment for both artists and clients.

  • Pain levels vary depending on placement and individual tolerance. Areas with more bone or less muscle tend to be more sensitive. Our artists work with you to make the process as comfortable as possible, and we’ll guide you on breaks if you need them.

  • Most of our work is by appointment, but we do occasionally have time for same-day tattoos, especially for flash designs. The best way to check availability is to stop by the shop or message us directly.

  • Tattoos are permanent, but over time, all tattoos naturally fade with age and sun exposure. At Pale Horse, we prioritize solid linework and proper application so your tattoo ages well. Taking care of your skin with sun protection and moisturizer will help your tattoo stay vibrant for years to come. Talk to your artist about their touch-up policy.

  • We’ll give you both written and verbal aftercare instructions at your appointment. In general, you’ll want to keep the tattoo clean, avoid soaking it (no swimming or hot tubs), and stay out of direct sunlight while it heals. Following the aftercare steps closely helps prevent infection and ensures your tattoo heals crisp and vibrant.
